Welcome to Your Drum Lesson: Sarah Tomek

Sarah Tomek is a drummer and a band leader, currently playing for Steven Tyler, and the Americana band Loving Mary. Sarah was raised in New Jersey by her musician father Joe Tomek, a significant drummer in the 1970’s New York rock scene. She found herself behind a kit from a very early age and has since made a name for herself as a session player and touring drummer. She is known for her ability to play many different styles of musical masterfully, and being an incredibly easy person to be around, a special combination that makes her a session ace in the studio world.
