Ebonie Smith: Paving the Way

Ebonie Smith is the senior engineer, producer and coordinator of Atlantic Records. She’s worked with many artists, including Janelle Monae, Sturgill Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, and the cast of Hamilton on the Broadway musical’s soundtrack. She also has a non-profit organization called Gender Amplified, dedicated to supporting women in music. On top of all of this, she has an extensive knowledge of microphones and recording techniques that her and John explore together
