Ebonie Smith: Paving the Way

Ebonie grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, inspired by the city’s rich musical legacy and a strong community of women who instilled resilience and purpose. Raised in a working-class household, she found her creative voice in the church choir, blending faith, education, and culture into her journey. Memphis’ history and her early experiences continue to shape her path in the music industry. Eventually making her way to New York City to begin a career in music, Ebonie now resides in Los Angeles where she continues to creatively thrive.
